Julie Siler is a graduate of the Georgia State University Master's Program in Communication Disorders. She completed her graduate training program at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, Wesley Woods Geriatric Hospital, and a Dekalb County Elementary School. For three years, she worked for Gwinnett County Public Schools and Brand Speech Pathology, Inc. serving various special education populations. For two years, Ms. Siler treated clients at Radiance Pediatric Therapy Services, Inc. in the Marcus Institute.
After starting Siler Speech Pathology, LLC in April, 2006 she worked as a contract SLP at the Hirsch Academy. There she honed her Floortime skills with children with Sensory Integration Dysfunction. More recently, Ms. Siler has been affiliated with The Hess Academy. There she assists with staff development, language based curriculum planning, and social groups. Ms. Siler has received extensive training in the areas of Autism Spectrum Disorders, Auditory Processing Disorder, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, Speech Sound Disorders, Fluency Disorders, and Language Development.
